Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and applications exceeding $2M annually
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and success stories
- Manage relationships with 50+ funding partners and steward existing grants
- Maintain accurate grant calendars and reporting documentation
- Analyze funding trends and identify new strategic opportunities
- Train volunteers and staff on grant writing best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience in nonprofit sector
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ in annual grant funding
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and private funding sources
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Little Green Light)
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
