Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and LOIs aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with program teams to gather impact data and narratives
- Manage grant application pipeline and ensure compliance with funder requirements
- Cultivate relationships with funders and community stakeholders
- Track grant outcomes and prepare impact reports
- Stay current on philanthropic trends and funding priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ in annual funding
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Experience with nonprofit finance and budget development
- Proficiency with grant databases (e.g., Candid, Instrumentl)
- Strong analytical skills for program evaluation and reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments
