Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, and private sources
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and reports aligned with funder priorities
- Manage grant application timelines and ensure compliance with submission requirements
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and success stories
- Maintain accurate records of grant applications and funding outcomes
- Conduct post-award reporting and stewardship communications
- Stay current on funding trends and regulatory changes affecting non-profits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven success
- Portfolio of 5+ successfully funded grant proposals ($50k+ awards)
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Non-Profit Mgmt, etc.)
- Expertise with federal (SAM.gov) and foundation grant systems
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical abilities to translate data into compelling narratives
- Ability to start immediately and work independently under tight deadlines
