Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documents
- Cultivate relationships with program staff to gather program data and impact metrics
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Analyze funding trends and maintain a comprehensive grant calendar
- Collaborate with finance team on budget development and alignment
- Represent the organization at funder meetings and site visits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Non-Profit Management, English, or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of proven grant writing success in non-profit/healthcare sector
- Expertise in researching and securing government/private foundation grants
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Proficiency in grant management databases (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and financial reporting
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Portfolio of successfully funded grants required
