Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop persuasive grant proposals aligned with organizational mission and program goals
- Collaborate with program staff to gather compelling impact data and success stories
- Manage grant application deadlines and reporting requirements for multiple funders
- Build and maintain relationships with funding partners through professional stewardship
- Analyze funding trends to identify new strategic opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of grant activities and outcomes in CRM systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Strong research abilities to identify funding opportunities aligned with organizational needs
- Proficiency in grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations and understanding of 501(c)(3) requirements
- Ability to translate complex program information into compelling narratives
