Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and applications aligned with funder priorities
- Manage relationships with program staff to gather necessary data and impact metrics
- Maintain accurate grant calendars and reporting documentation
- Analyze funding trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with finance team to ensure budget alignment in proposals
- Submit reports to funders and steward ongoing relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
- 3+ years professional grant writing experience with $500K+ secured annually
- Proven success with federal, state, and foundation grants
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Experience with grant management databases (e.g., Salesforce NPSP)
- Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and budget development
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
