Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop compelling case statements and program narratives that articulate community needs
- Manage grant application process from research through submission and reporting
- Cultivate relationships with funding partners and maintain stewardship communications
- Prepare grant budgets and financial narratives for complex funding requests
- Track grant outcomes and impact metrics for reporting and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, English, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Portfolio demonstrating $1M+ in secured grants within the last 3 years
- Expertise in health, human services, or community development sectors
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and outcome measurement
- Exceptional written communication with attention to detail and deadlines
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
