Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities from federal, state, private, and corporate foundations
- Develop compelling grant proposals and applications aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with program teams to gather data and narrative content for submissions
- Manage relationships with current and prospective funding partners
- Track grant compliance, reporting requirements, and funding outcomes
- Stay updated on philanthropic trends and funding priorities in Minnesota
- Maintain accurate records of all grant activities in CRM systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with nonprofit organizations
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ in annual grant funding
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities to identify funding opportunities
- Experience with nonprofit financial reporting and compliance
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP, GrantStation)
- Knowledge of Twin Cities philanthropic landscape preferred
