As a key member of our Development team, you'll craft compelling grant proposals aligned with our focus areas: education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. You'll collaborate with program directors to translate complex needs into fundable narratives while maintaining relationships with diverse funding partners.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant federal, state, and private funding opportunities
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and reports exceeding $1M annually
- Manage complex grant budgets and compliance requirements
- Build relationships with foundation officers and program officers
- Maintain accurate grant tracking databases and reporting systems
- Collaborate across departments to gather program data and impact metrics
- Lead grant strategy sessions with leadership team
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional grant writing experience with 501(c)(3) organizations
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ grants from diverse sources
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field
- Expertise in federal grant applications (e.g., HUD, HHS)
- Exceptional storytelling ability with data-driven approach
- Advanced knowledge of nonprofit financial management principles
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP)
