Responsibilities
- Research, write, and submit winning grant proposals to federal, state, private, and corporate funders
- Develop compelling program narratives, budgets, and impact statements aligned with funder priorities
- Cultivate relationships with program staff to gather project data and ensure grant alignment
- Manage grant application pipeline, deadlines, and reporting requirements
- Analyze funding trends and identify new opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Prepare funder reports demonstrating program outcomes and financial stewardship
- Maintain accurate grant databases and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field
- 3+ years proven grant writing experience with $1M+ secured funding
- Expertise in researching diverse funding sources (government, private, corporate)
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Proficiency with grant databases (e.g., Instrumentl, Candid) and CRM systems
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and impact measurement
- Certified Grant Writer (GPC) preferred
