Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and applications aligned with organizational goals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with funders through regular communication
- Manage grant reporting requirements and ensure compliance with funding guidelines
- Analyze funding trends to inform strategic fundraising initiatives
- Collaborate with program staff to gather compelling impact data and success stories
- Maintain accurate records of grant activities and deadlines in our CRM system
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with a proven track record of securing funding
- Strong portfolio of successful grant applications for nonprofit organizations
- Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail
- Experience with nonprofit financial management and budget development
- Knowledge of Austin's philanthropic landscape and major funders
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
