Responsibilities
- Execute heavy civil construction projects per engineering specifications
- Operate machinery (excavators, graders, compactors) with OSHA compliance
- Install/repair water mains, sewers, and drainage systems
- Maintain public spaces (parks, sidewalks, traffic signals)
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental standards
- Document daily progress and material usage
- Collaborate with engineers and subcontractors
Qualifications
- 3+ years heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid NC Class B Commercial Driver's License
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Stormwater Management (SWM) certification preferred
