Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, debris removal, and landscape maintenance
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, dump trucks) following safety protocols
- Assist in roadway repairs, drainage system upkeep, and park facility maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and report hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Ensure work areas comply with OSHA and city regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or public works preferred
