Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, graders, and asphalt pavers
- Perform infrastructure repairs on roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Execute snow removal operations during winter emergencies
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on public facilities
- Adhere to OSHA standards and municipal safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams on large-scale projects
- Maintain accurate work documentation and equipment logs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid Wisconsin Class A CDL license
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical schematics
- Emergency response certification preferred
