Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and landscape maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, dump trucks) safely and efficiently
- Assist in road repairs, drainage system maintenance, and storm cleanup operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete public projects on schedule
- Maintain clean and organized work sites while properly disposing of materials
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools preferred but not required
- Must be available for flexible shifts including weekends and emergencies
