Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, drainage systems, and public landscaping
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, graders) safely and efficiently
- Conduct site inspections and report maintenance needs via remote digital tools
- Collaborate with engineers using virtual platforms for project planning and updates
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety standards during on-site tasks
- Manage inventory and equipment through digital tracking systems
- Participate in emergency response operations for weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years construction/public works experience
- Valid Nevada driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient in digital reporting tools (e.g., field management apps)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of blueprints and construction materials
- Strong problem-solving skills with minimal on-site supervision
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
