Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment operation (excavators, loaders, graders) for infrastructure projects
- Install and maintain water/sewer lines with precision and safety protocols
- Execute road paving, concrete work, and drainage system installations
- Conduct routine inspections of public assets and document maintenance needs
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors on project specifications
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city safety regulations
- Operate hand/power tools for trenching, grading, and material handling
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience (CDL Class B preferred)
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with underground utility installation or road construction
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Basic first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
