Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment operation (excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks)
- Construct and maintain roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely
- Execute erosion control and landscaping projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure blueprints
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with heavy machinery operation preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
