Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, graders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols on all job sites
- Assist in road maintenance, stormwater management, and public facility upkeep
- Collaborate with engineering teams to execute project specifications
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain detailed project logs and progress reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction or public works experience
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic blueprint reading skills preferred
