Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and transporting materials.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as skid steers, loaders, and jackhammers.
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Clear debris and vegetation from work zones to maintain a safe environment.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Collaborate with foremen and engineers to execute projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and work in extreme weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Experience with public works or construction labor is a strong plus.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
