Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, grading, and excavation.
- Maintain and repair public infrastructure such as roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate light to medium heavy equipment, including backhoes, rollers, and dump trucks.
- Assist in paving, striping, and concrete work.
- Ensure all work sites adhere to strict safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled tradespeople and engineers.
- Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal or landscaping maintenance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required.
