Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery (excavators, graders, dump trucks)
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and utility installations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for construction sites
- Assist in traffic control and site cleanup operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year construction or public works experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
