Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, rollers) for road and drainage projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, concrete pouring, and asphalt paving
- Conduct site inspections and safety compliance checks
- Assist in stormwater management system maintenance
- Collaborate with engineering teams on municipal infrastructure upgrades
- Adhere to OSHA standards and environmental regulations
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and survey equipment
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
