Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment operation (excavators, loaders, dump trucks)
- Execute road maintenance and construction projects
- Conduct utility installation and repair work
- Maintain parks, trails, and public green spaces
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Document daily work activities and materials usage
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of public works/construction experience
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Minnesota residency preferred
