As a member of the Department of Economic Security, you will serve as the first point of contact for Arizona residents seeking assistance. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake interviews with clients to assess eligibility for state benefit programs.
- Process applications and maintain accurate, confidential case files using state databases.
- Provide clear, compassionate guidance regarding available resources and program requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to resolve complex client issues efficiently.
- Ensure strict adherence to state confidentiality laws and data privacy protocols.
- Assist in the coordination of community outreach events and informational sessions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and state-specific case management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License and reliable transportation may be required.
- Previous experience in public service, social work, or government administration is a plus.
