Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for government stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA, NIST) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support strategic decision-making and policy development
- Document data processes and create comprehensive audit trails for regulatory reviews
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional committees when required
- Monitor data quality and implement corrective actions for anomalies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal government data analysis or regulated industries
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R programming
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
