Responsibilities
- Process unemployment claims with 95% accuracy while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Provide in-person and virtual assistance to job seekers via phone, email, and walk-ins
- Coordinate with community partners to facilitate job fairs and workforce training programs
- Update and maintain client databases using proprietary state systems
- Generate monthly performance reports for regional leadership
- Train new temporary staff on departmental protocols
- Support disaster relief initiatives during emergency declarations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years customer service or administrative experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and state reporting tools
- Ability to pass state background check and drug screening
- Valid Texas driver's license (for occasional travel to satellite offices)
- Experience with multi-tasking in high-volume environments
- Knowledge of Texas labor market preferred
