Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and compactors under supervision
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and proper waste disposal procedures
- Participate in emergency response activities during severe weather events
- Maintain clean and organized work sites throughout project duration
- Collaborate with crew members to efficiently complete daily assignments
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID and work authorization
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license (Class D) required
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- No prior felony convictions (background check required)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
