Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex data management systems and applications to support state agency objectives.
- Analyze system requirements, workflows, and user needs to provide technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead project initiatives for system upgrades and migrations, ensuring adherence to state standards and timelines.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
- Provide expert technical support and mentorship to junior staff and internal government clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing legacy systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or database administration.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C# is required.
- Experience working within a government or large enterprise environment is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification in ITIL or Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
