Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure and systems
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex IT issues across 500+ users
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments and compliance monitoring
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate technology solutions into clinical workflows
- Manage system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery protocols
- Document IT procedures and develop training materials for staff
- Coordinate with federal IT standards and VA-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience in federal/government environments
- Active CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Strong understanding of FedRAMP, NIST, and HIPAA compliance frameworks
- Proven project management skills with federal procurement processes
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
