Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure and cloud systems
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats using advanced SIEM tools
- Manage federal compliance frameworks including NIST and FISMA
- Lead system upgrades and migration projects for critical DHS applications
- Provide Tier 3 technical support to resolve complex IT issues
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on national security initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience with federal IT infrastructure and security protocols
- Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and enterprise networking
- Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance and zero-trust architectures
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Experience with federal procurement processes (e.g., GSA schedules)
