Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems across 15+ departmental workflows
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate security threats within 24-hour SLA
- Collaborate with HIPAA-compliant healthcare teams to ensure data integrity
- Manage 50+ endpoints including IoT medical devices and secure workstations
- Develop disaster recovery plans with quarterly tabletop testing
- Mentor junior staff on FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with federal IT infrastructure (GS-12 level preferred)
- Active Security+ CE and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, and SCCM
- Proven experience with ITIL service management frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Strong documentation skills for SOP and audit preparation
