Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT systems and networks
- Provide technical support for cybersecurity initiatives and compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop IT solutions for veteran services
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle planning for critical infrastructure
- Document technical processes and maintain system documentation
- Conduct system testing and quality assurance protocols
- Train staff on new technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Demonstrated experience with NIST cybersecurity frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Experience with ITIL or IT service management principles
