Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure federal IT systems using cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including threat detection and incident response
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital transformation projects
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal security protocols
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff and agency stakeholders
- Implement DevOps practices for continuous integration/deployment
- Conduct system performance optimization and capacity planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of federal IT security experience (IAA-332-10-0001 preferred)
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# for system development
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and CUI handling procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
