Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise IT systems including network infrastructure and cybersecurity protocols
- Provide technical support for veterans' healthcare applications and data management systems
- Implement disaster recovery solutions and business continuity plans
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects on schedule and within budget
- Ensure all systems comply with FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal requirements
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT infrastructure management
- Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks and risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
- Experience with ITIL service management processes
