Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure supporting veteran healthcare systems
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex network and hardware issues
- Develop and execute cybersecurity protocols in compliance with federal standards
- Coordinate system upgrades and migrations with minimal service disruption
- Train staff on new technologies and security best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT strategy and budget planning
- Document system configurations and incident reports for audit compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency in network administration (Cisco, Juniper)
- Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization
- ITIL certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
