Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cybersecurity systems
- Implement and monitor data security protocols to protect sensitive government information
- Provide technical support to federal employees and troubleshoot complex IT issues
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on system integration and modernization projects
- Ensure compliance with federal IT regulations and security standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports
- Train users on new technologies and security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or cybersecurity
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or federal cloud platforms
- Knowledge of federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
