Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure supporting federal operations
- Lead cybersecurity threat detection, analysis, and incident response protocols
- Manage cloud migration projects using AWS/Azure platforms with FedRAMP compliance
- Develop and document IT policies ensuring NIST 800-53 standards adherence
- Coordinate cross-agency technology initiatives with federal partners
- Mentor junior IT staff on federal compliance frameworks
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DHS security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications
- Expertise in federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP)
- Proficiency with network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
