Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain agency cybersecurity systems across NYC metropolitan area
- Implement and monitor security protocols for classified and unclassified networks
- Lead incident response for cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Coordinate with federal law enforcement partners on security operations
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Provide technical guidance to senior leadership on emerging threats
- Conduct periodic security audits and compliance assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active Security+ CE certification and CISSP preferred
- Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience in government or regulated industry
- Expertise in NIST frameworks and FISMA compliance
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux systems and network architecture
- Secret clearance required (Top Secret eligible)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical briefings
