Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Develop and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran data
- Provide technical support and training to end-users across VA facilities
- Coordinate system upgrades and migrations while ensuring minimal service disruption
- Analyze complex IT requirements and design scalable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT project implementation
- Stay current with emerging technologies and federal IT compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Strong understanding of NIST cybersecurity frameworks and FedRAMP requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a regulated environment
