Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Provide advanced technical support and user training for hardware and software applications.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patch management to ensure operational continuity.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and propose scalable solutions.
- Document all system configurations, incidents, and resolutions in our IT ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS) and virtualization platforms.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to critical system outages after hours when required.
