Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and security systems
- Provide technical support for VA healthcare applications and electronic health records
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
- Document system configurations and create technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal IT regulations and security standards
- Lead system upgrades and migration projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT environments
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with VA-specific systems (VistA, EHR) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
