Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise IT systems including servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran healthcare data
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VA healthcare applications
- Coordinate system upgrades and migrations while ensuring minimal service disruption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and process improvements
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with federal IT standards
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct technology training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD-approved credential
- Demonstrated expertise in Windows Server, VMware, and Azure cloud services
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant healthcare IT systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with complex technical issues
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Preferred: CompTIA Network+ or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
