Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex IT initiatives from concept through deployment, ensuring alignment with state strategic goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and resource allocations using industry-standard methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall).
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and technical constraints to ensure business continuity.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to executive leadership and diverse stakeholders.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT project management within a large-scale enterprise or government organization.
- Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
