Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures for federal systems in compliance with FISMA standards.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical government applications.
- Develop and document technical procedures, incident response plans, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT support.
- U.S. Citizenship required for federal employment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and federal IT acquisition regulations.
