Key Duties:
- Implement and maintain advanced cybersecurity measures to protect federal information systems from unauthorized access and malicious attacks.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure system integrity.
- Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents in real-time, utilizing incident response protocols.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including NIST SP 800-171, FedRAMP, and OMB policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the IT lifecycle and software development processes.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff on cybersecurity policies and threat mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or network defense.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal IT security frameworks and risk management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
