Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure systems supporting defense operations
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments and threat mitigation
- Manage cloud migration projects using AWS GovCloud and Azure Government environments
- Develop disaster recovery plans and business continuity protocols
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on IT best practices
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST, RMF)
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for system integrations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure Government preferred)
- Knowledge of DoD IT security policies and procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
