Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the agency's federal network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards (FISMA).
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal systems.
- Conduct system audits and performance assessments to optimize network efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute IT upgrades and migrations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (OR equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT system administration or network engineering.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco and/or Juniper network equipment.
- Familiarity with federal IT regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
