Responsibilities
- Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (FISMA) and NIST guidelines to protect sensitive data.
- Provide advanced technical support and problem resolution to a diverse user base.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with federal contractors and in-house teams to implement new technology solutions and upgrades.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and incident reports in accordance with federal record-keeping standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations (DFARS/FAR) and ITIL best practices.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues under pressure.
