Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise-level cybersecurity systems to protect sensitive veteran data
- Lead implementation of cloud migration projects using AWS and Azure platforms
- Develop and maintain custom software solutions using .NET and Python
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure best practices
- Conduct system vulnerability assessments and remediation planning
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity protocols
- Mentor junior IT staff through formal training programs
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal IT experience (GS-11 equivalent)
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with FedRAMP compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
